Our History
Edward L. Woodcome Jr. founded the company in 1993 as the E.L. Woodcome Insurance Agency. Ed is a second-generation insurance professional. His father had owned and operated the Paul J. Woodcome Insurance Agency until his retirement in 1982 when Ed and three colleagues purchased the agency. In 1990, this agency was sold and, in 1993, Ed launched his own agency, The E.L. Woodcome Insurance Agency. In 2000, the company was incorporated as the Woodcome Insurance Agency, Inc.
Today, Woodcome Insurance employs five professionals with an average experience of more than twenty years. We are committed to delivering the signature level of customer service that has distinguished through two generations.
